Chapter 5

By Sue Parrish

April 27th

Today was an early run out at 09:00am along the Common and the alternative way towards “Maddy Woods” with my daughter. It was very cool and quite grey skies.

It seemed to be all uphill today, a lot of bees, small birds, 3 deers and yes another runner going up a distant hill (I thought it was Lawrence?)- or can someone identify him. This mystery runner is on the photo ascending the diagonal path??

Great to get out for exercise, fresh air and get into a steady running pattern. Very mindful of “social distancing” but no one around except for a couple of dog walkers. I decided to….

“Hit the Hill” again and my legs are paying for it currently. :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:Herds of cows watched on as I steadily ran the Hill. What a great way to start my week – beautiful clear country lanes, blossom, bluebells and it’s all downhill now, through Maddy Woods and back home for 11:00am. Daily exercise/government allocation :white_check_mark: complete! :+1::skin-tone-2::rainbow::boom:

We love this Sue… Keep up the good work
