Stuart Anderson & Sally Shepherd
Stuart has a long running career spanning right back to the 1970’s when he first found a love for the sport. Back then via his PE teacher, and a cross country dash around Windsor Great Park.
Stuart occasionally digs into his scrap book and treats us all with some of his memories.. Today we celebrate some of his more recent achievements…

Running the Relay with Sally after both smashed Half Marathon PB’s.
Run Fest at Bowood House 2019
Both Stuart and Sally started the day by running the half in the morning, both giving it maximum effort, and both crossing the line with club PB’s.
Stuart now sits firmly on top of the clubs HM PB table, and Sally as second fastest lady…. A great day at the races.
As epic as that was, both were due to run the 4x 3 mile team relay at lunchtime…
Richie and Laura although signed up, we’re unable to attend. Team Shrewton were not about to disappoint.
Stuart and Sally dug deep and ground out two laps each.
The relay was quite short, only two or three miles but because it was short the pace was quite fast – and there was a hill right at the end. But I did get to chat to Vasos at the start of the relay and Caroline got to chat with Chris Evans during the half.
All I can say was it was flippin exhausting! Stuart is a good runner and I didn’t want to let him down so I did my best and nearly had a heart attack on the second lap!
We may not be able to race but we can get out our bling!
