Today’s club run made me very happy and completely reinforced what Shrewton Running Club is all about.
We met at Sally’s house in Orcheston and headed out onto Salisbury Plain. The flags were down which meant we had free rein to go wherever we pleased. Sally had a route in mind so we just went with the flow. It was a lovely sunny morning, nice and cool, a perfect winter sun run.
We ran for about 9k, just chatting, no pressure, enjoying the scenery and the company.
Back at Sally’s we pitched in to cook breakfast and sat down around her kitchen table and had a good laugh (Moss good value as always ?)
No pressures, no points, no friction. A perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. That’s what I love about this club. ?
