With lockdown restrictions now eased,
Shrewton runners are excited and pleased,
To see friends in person,
Not just the Zoom version,
So a chance for a run we all seized.
And today to the Plain we returned,
Just running with friends we had yearned,
The views were just splendid,
Though the route was extended ( by 3 miles 
)
Just to be back was just…fandabidozi!
