Record Shrewton RC Attendance at Compton Bassett 5
We put out a record attendance at the inaugural Compton Bassett 5 today.
11 Athletes competed (including one second claim member) and with loads of PBs it was an extremely successful day on a really fast new course.
And of course loads of points for the Road Race League.
Our club honours Matt Campbell with our #FinishForMatt run
At this year’s London Marathon Matt Campbell collapsed and died with 3.7 miles left to run.
This morning 13 runners honoured Matt with a 3.7 mile #finishformatt run.
At our Quiz night tonight in The Plume we will make a collection for the Brathay Trust and make a donation from the club.
