I joined Shrewton Running club on their first ever C25k Course way back in 2017. Quickly going, from strength to strength… Perhaps too quickly and getting injured. Instead of giving up, I chose to overcome my fear of swimming…. That soon turned into a wonderful set of experiences and achievements…

As a newly affiliated club we were allocated an entry into this prestigious and world renowned event. We balloted our members and were delighted to award the entry to Andy Hartfield. Andy had recently joined us through our first ever C25k course the previous year, and was going from strength to strength. Training wasn’t easy for Andy, but he showed great determination and with the help of our very own Osteopath and a new pair of trainers….
